one of the reknown steamboat houses in shenzhen and across HK too! me and jie had the yuanyang base soup which had a very thick medicinal taste chicken stock while the other half was the spicy numbing chilli stock!
it was after meeting Donna my studio mate who introduce "xiaofeiyang" to us in HK that we decided that it was time for us to try the one in Shenzhen! and it really lifts up to its name, Jie loves the thinly sliced mutton and i thot the broth for the steamboat was fantastic!!! very thick and savoury! YUMMY! *thumbs up*
we couldnt finished all the meat at first (it was a mini mountain leh!!) and Jie wanted to ‘tah bao’ it back, but we were too paiseh…and Jie couldnt resist stuffing himself with all the mutton slices! As a result, we actually went back to the apt as "little fat sheep". our tumtums all bulging out of our clothes!
next it was time to exchange our xmas gifts under our mini lit tree…
